Pets Corner - "Das Dorf der Tiere"

Pets Corner known as the "Dorf der Tiere" or "Village of the Animals" offers you and your children the chance to stroke feed or simply enjoy watching the (mostly) domestic animals. Pets Corner is about a 15 min. drive from Fuschl am See and can also be reached by taking the local bus (direction Bad Ischl). An ideal day drip for families or animal lovers. There's plenty to do when you get there because the village of the Animals also has a giant sand-pit where treasure hunts are organised, go carts and other children's vehicles, a play ground and trampoline.

Hellbrunn ZOO

Welcome to the zoo in Salzburg's Hellbrunn with over 500 animals of 140 different species. The zoo is built into the natural backdrop of the rugged foothills to the south of Salzburg and covers an area of 14 hectares. The enclosures are styled on the animals' natural habitats, the staff are well-qualified and competent and animals from all five continents can be seen. Ideal for a day out, there is a restaurant in the zoo and Hellbrunn Palace and gardens next to the zoo are also well worth a visit.
