Here you will find that golfing is a real pleasure and the Salzkammergut Lake District's golf courses are considered some of the most interesting courses in Europe. In a radius of 30 km you will find 9 golf courses, with the nearest being only 4 km from the Land-Hotel Schützenhof. The difference between the courses couldn't be greater - The 18-hole Golf Club Mondsee is relatively flat with lots of water obstacles compared to the very traditional 9-hole Schloss Klessheim Course in Salzburg and then the 18-hole, very hilly, Salzkammergut Golf club
