Winter paradise in FuschL am See

Away from the down-hill pistes and the cross-country trails you will find relaxation and tranquillity while riding on a horse-drawn sleigh through the winter landscape, ice skating or curling.   Snow shoes went out of fashion for a while but they have enjoyed a renaissance over the last few years as the desire for more speed dwindles and the longing for peace and quiet in unspoilt winter landscape grows.

Tobogganing on one of the various runs in the region is something that can be enjoyed by all the family. Or try out snow-tubing in the neighbouring village of Faistenau. Make yourself comfortable in a giant soft tyre as you are pulled up the hill by a tow lift and then whiz down the slope for another go!
