Just 15 minutes drive from Fuschl am See you will find Hintersee Lake, a secluded, wild mountain lake, completely different to Lake Fuschl yet just a fascinating. Surrounded by mountains the lake is fed by the numerous mountain streams responsible for the magnificent water quality.
Enjoy unspoilt swimming pleasure in the refreshing water of our mountain lakes. Try your hand at wind surfing or sailing, or discover the secluded bays scattered around Lake Fuschl in a pedalo or rowing boat. To ensure the top water quality and protect the forna and flora of Lake Fuschl there are no motor boats allowed on the lake. This means that water skiers have to choose from one of the alternative Salzkammergut Lakes just a short drive from Fuschl am See.

| Relax & enjoy yourself... | Our hotel has its own private beach exclusive for Landhotel Schützenhof guests just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The shady lawn leads to the edge of the water and a thin gravel/sand beach which sinks very gently in to the lake makes this the ideal place for small children to play and paddle.
In autumn you can use the refreshing water to cool you down after having a sauna or simply watch the sunset from the hotel beach jetty. | |
