In the 19th Century Sebstian Kneipp propogated the theory of the "healing powers of water", the positive effects achieved by subjecting your body to contact with fresh water of varying temperatures.  Many people have followed his advice and today, Kneipp clubs enjoy great popularity in Austria and Germany. Our specially designed Kneipp Garden with its cold water treading pool and arm bath has become a real attraction in Fuschl. More and more people have discovered that by following the simple instructions on the information boards (also in English), that you simply feel better afterwards. The Kneipp Garden was financed and built by the Kneipp Active Club Fuschl am See with support from the local council. It is located just 5 minutes walk from the church at the start of the Bambichl Walk The most beautiful hiking trails ...
