Hiking Trail to the Schober Mountain ... duration: 2 1/4 hours, distance: 7 km altitude difference covered in total: 600 m, return route: 1 3/4 hours Walking time to the Wartenfels ruins: 1,5 hours, altitude difference: 240 m Rout description Starting at the lakeside promenade in Fuschl am See - take the walking path to the right as soon as you have passed the Hotel Waldhof - continue to the Waldhofalm - on to the  Schlössl guesthouse - the path leads behind the guesthouse to the Frauenkopf und Schober peaks: walking time: 1 1/4 hours, difference in altitude: 380 m. Round route from the Schlössl guesthouse via the Wartenfels ruins, Schober and Frauenkopf peaks: walking time 2,5 hours, difference in altitude: 400 m. Schlössl guesthouse to the Wartenfels ruins: walking time: 20 min., distance: 0,5 km, difference in altitude 100 m. Follow the signs to the right of the guesthouse. From the ruins to the Schober peak: walking time: 1 hour, distance: 1,5 km, difference in altitude: 300 m. Schober peak to the Frauenkopf peak via the Schober hut: walking time 20 min., distance 500 m., difference in altitude 50 m., hütte führt der Weg zum Frauenkopf,   from here you can descent to the Schlössl guesthouse . Eibensee Lake - Ellmausteinr Round Walk ... Duration: 4 hours, distance: 20 km altitude difference covered: 300 + 200 m Route description: Starting on the main road leading out of Fuschl towards St. Gilgen the Eibenseeweg hiking route veers off to the left by a small hamlet of houses - the route then follows the path of the Eibensee stream - through the marsh landscapes of Wildmoos - to the wild and romantic mountain lake Eibensee - either continue along the forest track around the Marienköpfl peak until you reach the shrine or follow hiking route no. 13b to the north east of the lake on a more challenging climb to the shrine - cross the main road - follow the steep climbing route to the Ellmausteinkamm ridge - continue along the ridge first on a forest track and then along the small local Ellmaustein road which you follow until you meet the main road. This route is also a designated running and Nordic walking route. From Fuschl to the Eibensee mountain lack and back: walking time 3 hours, distance 10 km, difference in altitude: 260 m. Fuschl am See Round the Village Walk ... duration: 2 hours, distance: 7 km difference in altitude covered 70 m route description: Starting at the hotel you walk along the lake-side promenade - immediately after the Hotel Waldhof you take the path on the right - at the first fork take the right path which will take you to Hochfeld (viewpoint for the village, surrounding mountains and lake) - follow the path above the village until you see the steep path leading back into the village centre - cross the road in the centre of the village and walk towards the church - behind the church is an underpass which will take you under main road - follow the path until you reach a small road - cross the road and take the path to the Old Ruming Mill "Ruminmühle"- return on the same path and use the underpass again to get back to the village. Bambichl Round Walk... duration: 1,5 hours, distance: 6 km altitude difference covered: 80 m Route description: Starting at the hotel walk up to village and behind the church you will find an underpass which will take you under the main road - follow the path until you come to a small road - cross the road and pick up the path leading to the Old Ruming Mill "Ruminmühle" - continue on the path past the mill, go through the words and after a few hundred yards the path forks - take the right hand path which will take you up through the woods to the Bambichlhof Farm - pass the farm house and the path leads to the right along the top of the meadow next to the woods. follow the path into the woods - stay on the path (don't veer to the right where the barrier is) - this path will take you to the Perfalleckstraße road - follow the road until you get to the main road - cross the main road at the Brunnwirt restaurant and take the path through the camping site back into the village and back to the hotel. Round the Lake Walk - Fuschlsehweg ... duration: 3 to3,5 hours, distance: 12 km altitude difference covered: 70 m Route description: The round the lake walk takes you along a path which, for the majority of the walk, follows the contours of the lake right next to the shoreline. Only at the far end of the lake near Castle Fuschl does the path steer you a way across the bridge over the Fuschler Ache stream for about one kilometre before it returns into the woods and back to the lakeside. The path will take you through magnificent protected countryside and a part of the route has been turned into a nature trail with interesting facts and information. (see nature trails). You can either pick up the walk on the main road just after the Brunnwirt restaurant (heading towards Salzburg) or by following the path past the lake-side promenade and turning down towards the lake just after the hotel Seewinkl.
