Summer holiday by Lake Fuschl
Swimming pleasure guaranteed! Not only does the hotel’s lake-side terrace give our guests exclusive and direct access to the lake via a short ladder, our guests also have free admission to the local beach and sports club with its heated outdoor pool. Enjoy nature trails and, for younger children, the “dwarfs path” through the enchanting local woods, a trip to the nearby Gut Aiderbichl animal sanctuary or Salzburg’s Hellbrunn Zoo mean that a holiday here is a success for both you and your children from start to finish. Enjoy hours of fun and pleasure in the wonderfully clean waters of the lake, try your hand at windsurfing or sailing or simply relax in a comfortable lounger on the hotel’s own private beach. Lake Fuschl presents you with an ever-changing picture, depending on the weather, time of day and season. The small emerald green ripples invite you for a refreshing swim and later the light dances like a thousand diamonds on the surface of the dark blue waters as the sun sets. On stormy days its more like taking a walk along an ocean coastline. Each day unfolds a new and unseen facet of Lake Fuschl. Enjoy each day anew on the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in Austria – Lake Fuschl. Just 15 minutes drive from Fuschl am See you will find Hintersee Lake, a secluded, wild mountain lake, completely different to Lake Fuschl yet just a fascinating. Surrounded by mountains the lake is fed by the numerous mountain streams responsible for the magnificent water quality. Enjoy unspoilt swimming pleasure in the refreshing water of our mountain lakes. Try your hand at wind surfing or sailing, or discover the secluded bays scattered around Lake Fuschl in a pedalo or rowing boat. To ensure the top water quality and protect the forna and flora of Lake Fuschl there are no motor boats allowed on the lake. This means that water skiers have to choose from one of the alternative Salzkammergut Lakes just a short drive from Fuschl am See.
Lake terrace with sunbathing lawn and lounges
The lakeside terrace with deck chairs and loungers is exclusively available to our hotel guests. We offer direct lake access via a ladder from the terrace. The hotel facilities are available from 3:00 PM until 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If you arrive in Fuschl before 3:00 PM, you can, of course, park your car in the parking lot free of charge, subject to availability. Your room and the sunbathing lawn are then available from 3:00 PM. Earlier or later use (subject to availability) will be charged €40.00 per person.
Free entry to the Fuschlseebad
It’s new, it’s modern, and it’s extravagant: the Fuschlseebad – admission is free for our hotel guests! In addition to a 250-meter natural beach, a giant slide into the lake, and a large sunbathing lawn with shady trees, even more recreational opportunities await you. At the Fuschlseebad, summer begins as early as April and doesn’t end until October. That’s two months of additional swimming fun more than at any other swimming facility.
